Anyway, I've been contacted by my employers at DrMaster and have been given quite the assignment. :O

Their translator suddenly can't meet his or her deadline for some undisclosed reason, so they want me to translate the final volume of Junk. This is a HUGE project for me. :O

Suffice it to say, I have a lot of work ahead of me. Before April 14th rolls around, I have to translate 140-some-odd pages of mecha-suit manga. I'm going to be compensated $300 for my efforts, but with the number of hours I'll be putting it, I won't be surprised if I make less than minimum wage. :3;;; But the main reason for me to take this project on is how fucking amazing this is going to look on my resume.

"Oh yeah. I translated a manga. Published and everything. Wanna hire me?"

This is no second-rate yaoi doujinshi scanlation that I post on LJ for the fangirls to cream their pants. This is the real deal. :D:D:D

Yeah. No writing fanfiction for the next three weeks. No scanlations. Aside from my day job, this has become my priority. :3 (If you see me on AIM, and it looks like I'm not working on my translation work, NAG ME. LOL ;D)

I exaggerate, since I don't actually mind my job at all, BUT GODDAMN I'M TIRED. XDXDXD

My employers just mailed me a ten-pound box of manga to get caught up on the projects I'm going to be working on. It looks like I'll be spending the week reading lots and lots of manga.

I am so happy I can spend time reading manga and call it "research for work," but TEN POUNDS? XD That's a crap-ton of manga! Hahaha. ;D

It's been the greater part of a decade, so I guess I had it coming. Digitalbrain finally noticed that the files I was hosting on their site were not for "educational purposes," and I thusly lost my account. Hahaha. XD

I've been throwing files there since high school. It was bound to happen sooner or later. ;)

In any case, a majority of the images I posted here on LJ are all broken, and I just noticed the comments in my LJ with concerned readers saying how the scanlations are now inaccessible. In other words, I need new image hosting. :)

I'm not a huge fan of Photobucket, so I was wondering if there was another easy-to-use hosting site with few restrictions on the type/size of content I upload. If anyone can point a finger in a general direction, I'd be very grateful. :)

I have had the OBC soundtrack for Legally Blonde: The Musical on a loop for the past week.

This musical is so full of WIN that I cannot even begin to describe it. X3;;;

(Really, any musical where the cast breaks out into song when trying to determine whether the witness on the stand is gay or not really should deserve a million Tony awards.)
