"You must be this fast to enter!"
Eh, you must've stumbled here by mistake! There's no way you'd wanna associate yourself with a dork like me!
First of all, I'm a Super Sentai fanatic.
If you know what that is, you'd know I'm a dork. Lets just say my love for
Hurricanger runs as deep as my love for life. On top of that, I'm into Kamen
Rider and stuff.
I thought Kamen Rider Ryuki was the absolute best thing for months. I mean, you
really can't get much dorkier than that.
Okay, maybe you can. In addition to all of that, I'm an otaku.
To be more specific, a yaoi fanboy otaku.
All this sums up to mean that I'm a rabid, open-minded liberal. (Although not
really.)
But that, my friends, is just the Trekkie-icing on the
nerd-cake. It's pretty evident from the opening line to my profile that my
dorkdom delves even deeper--deep into a world in which many fear to venture. The
world...of comics.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" you must be saying. "Sentai, Kamen Rider,
anime, yaoi, and comics? You have got to be shitting me!" I shit
you not, my friends. Not only that, but you haven't even let me finish yet! Did
I mention I'm a gamer?
I'm mainly addicted to the console RPGs of my childhood, but lately, the world
of strategy RPGs has pulled me into their addictive void. Specifically those
published by Nippon Ichi. Disgaea and Phantom Brave have both eaten way too much
of my time. But I digress.
Let's not even go into my tastes in music. To sum it all up,
my boyfriend belittles my favored genres of music by lumping them together into
the great category known as "lesbian
music."
It's his not-so-nice way of saying that I listen to nothing but music to which
women who love women rock out. Vanessa Carlton, Michelle Branch, Annie Lennox,
Indigo Girls, Jewel, and the like. To be fair, I have my fair share
of fag music too--featuring talents such as ABBA, Celine Dion, Cyndi Lauper, Cher, and--dare
I say it--Queen. I'm not sure where artists like The Corrs or Death Cab of Cutie
fit in there, but I feel that's a question better left unanswered.
To be perfectly fair, my favorite musical artists are Sakamoto Maaya, John Mayer, Butterfly Boucher, and Missy Higgins, all of whom probably evade the LGBT genre sieve. Although Missy Higgins teeters dangerously on that lesbian music fence.
...
So, that's me. If you still think I'm worth befriending, I feel very, very sorry for you.
With that said, stick around, kick your feet up, and try to keep the place neat. I just tidied up.
Dedicated to David and K. D. Lang. Without you, none of this
would be possible.
